Cadillac Seville (1998 - 2002)

Cadillac Automotive Grilles quality dash kits. As you ascend the pricing scale, there comes a point when a cars ability becomes largely taken for granted and what the car says about you becomes more important. This is a problem that has haunted the Cadillac Seville STS. The American giant has put so many toes in the water of the shark-infested European luxury car market that youd expect it to nursing some rather nasty wounds. In 1998 however, Cadillac came back in a bigger way than ever before with the Seville.

Theres no doubt its a good car, but then so is a Nissan QX or a Toyota Camry and would you really want to be seen stepping out of one of these at the golf club? Image talks and a used Cadillac Seville may well prove what many suspected talk is cheap.
The interior of the Seville has come a long way from American luxury saloons most of us remember. There arent any column shifters, rawhide seats or Routemaster-steering wheels. No, you wont feel like Boss Hogg or an extra from Shaft. Theres still some pretty dubious fake wood, but on the whole, it looks remarkably like a Lexus or a big Nissan/Hyundai.

Can it really steal sales from the established players? The StabiliTrak drive dynamics system, tweaked since the Seville first arrived here, might just help. This is an active handling system intended, with traction control, to harness the 305bhp of the 4.6-litre Northstar V8 - the only engine on offer and now fitted with redesigned cylinder heads developed mainly to meet ever-tougher emissions regulations in both the USA and Europe. For the money you’d expect driver aids like this. BMW and Mercedes already offer stability systems that in extreme situations throttle the car back whilst simultaneously applying the brakes, hopefully helping the driver regain control when things get tricky. As you’d expect from a car pitched in size and price against Jaguar’s XJ8 Sovereign 4.0, BMW’s 540i and Mercedes’ E430, the Cadillac comes impressively equipped. The Bose 4.0 stereo system is billed as the world’s most advanced - and sounds it. There’s also dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery, heated seats front and rear (!) plus an electrically adjustable steering wheel. The adaptive seating system inflates and deflates a series of ten air cushions to give a precisely tailored seat fit. Some of the detailing is quite interesting too. Like steering wheel controls not only for the stereo but also for the air conditioning (why has no one thought of that before?) Of more dubious value is the digital compass built into the rear view mirror.

Cadillac’s time to shine.

Grilles dash kit review.  Introduction. Cadillac CTS 2008 Review: Sports teams and car companies are a lot alike. Each is part of a fiercely competitive and high-dollar business that depends on its players, striving to build the strongest squad possible and subsequently squeezing out weak performers. At the end of the year success is largely determined by the number of wins (sales). Failure allows your competition to eat your lunch and steal the favor of all but your most diehard fans.Cadillac has known the scenario all too well.

We have numerous other articles written on this very subject. Each one tackles a different aspect of this complex topic.

Once a brilliant star outshining greatly of the North American car bazaar, GMs flagship luxury mark chop victim to augmented heaviness from all over the ball, and was wholly basically outgunned, outsmart, and outsold. The 2008 Cadillac CTS verifys a period has been made. As with any recovering sports wall, a only win does not a enjoyable fleck make. Well, Cadillac can matter at slighhardship three its performance-oriented V sequence line, the replanned Escalade, and now the overhauled CTS. That smacks of a return, albeit one in its babycover.

For its part, the CTS hits the streets with a prominent new front end, an stylishly planned and advanced value interior, added muscle under the cover, and more performance built into the carcass. Its a sound enclose, as it will have to be when customers frustrate-store it against the replanned Mercedes-Benz C-panache, the impending revised Audi A4, the boosted BMW 335i, and others. Well have to linger pending the ultimate timer to see how it all unfolds, but theres one thing that can be said for surefire this time, Cadillac showed up with its sport face on. The 2005 Cadillac CTS is the third installment of this premium midsize car. Part 2.

Cadillac Automotive Grilles dash kit review.  The 2005 Cadillac CTS is definitely a unique looking car. It has angular lines and sharp drop-offs that give it a space-age form. This isn’t surprising considering the CTS adopted stealth aircraft technology into its design. It also has exterior performance features like high-intensity xenon headlights with wiper-washers, standard fog lights and 225/55HR16 tires on alloy wheels.

Performance
The Cadillac CTS and CTS-V are both performance vehicles. Cadillac has always known you need a little steak with the sizzle and in the case of the CTS-V? The numbers are outrageous.

The 2005 Cadillac CTS is a rear-wheel drive car run by a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift capability controlling a 3.6-liter VVT V6. With specially isolated cam covers and internal damping plates to quell engine vibrations, the engine produces its 255 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque very quietly and efficiently. The new engine, to be phased in later in the year will lower these numbers somewhat for a respectable 215 hp V6 that manages better mileage and still, a smooth and quiet limo-like ride.

The 2005 Cadillac CTS-V is on a different playing field altogether as 5.7-liters of engine displacement from this V8 engine cause a crazy 400hp to be available at the wheels, not to mention 395 lb-ft of torque! StabiliTrak, independent front and rear high-performance suspension and full-range traction control, provides excellent responsiveness. and big, fat run-flats (245/45WR18) do the rest to keep the rubber side down.

Safety and Security
The 2005 Cadillac CTS is also a very safety-oriented vehicle. A rarity in the industry, it has standard curtain side airbags, and lots of other ones, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes and Xenon high-intensity discharge halogen headlamps(optional on Base model). The 2005 Cadillac CTS is the third installment of this premium midsize car. Part 1.

Cadillac Automotive dash kits Grilles.  The 2005 Cadillac CTS is the third installment of this premium midsize car. For 2005, Cadillac is bringing in a new motor, available later in the year, that will make the car more affordable, easier on gas and still be high-powered. The real story is in the CTS-V however. This car has a super-power profile, with a huge V8 powerhouse- a muscle car, really, but a limo inside, with the height of luxury. The Cadillac name speaks success and the CTS is a prime example of the reason why.

Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll” is the theme song for Cadillac’s resurgence in the automotive world, and it couldn’t be more appropriate for the CTS. This car has all the innovative style, attitude and performance ability to warrant such a heart-pumping theme.

Available Models
The 2005 Cadillac CTS is available with either manual transmission or automatic transmission. The CTS-V, however, is a race-ready driving enthusiast’s car, and as such appropriately has a performance-tuned 6-speed manual stick.

Interior Features
The four-door Cadillac CTS sedan seats five passengers. Its interior is crafted to create a harmonious interaction between the high-tech cockpit and the rest of the cabin. While leather upholstery is standard, wood is used sparingly-only in areas with which the customer comes into contact, such as on the steering wheel, shifter knob and door pulls.

Additional refinements include chrome accents on the ashtray, a body-colored center armrest, a color-keyed center console, an instrument cluster temperature gauge, an AM/FM/CD/cassette player, a rear defogger and bright white lighting. A new power adjustable lumbar support with power adjustable seat is optional. The CTS-V adds state-of-the-art technology as well. The GPS navigation system is accompanied by OnStar emergency protection and communication, satellite radio and high-end Bose Audio. Heated, multi-way powered seats front seats with memory settings and lumbar adjustment add to comfort. Cadillac Automotive dash kits Grilles.
